The house is set in magnificent gardens opening onto the Bristol Downs at the front - an open park of some 450 acres - and onto the Botanic Gardens at the back. Truly a countryside location in the heart of the city. It is ideally situated for the amenities of the City, including theatres, cinemas, restaurants, both Universities & special places of interest, yet it lies amid the peaceful surroundings of acres of open parkland. The house is furnished with fine period furniture and paintings, and a library containing many interesting books on the history of Bristol. The accommodation comprises 8 thoughtfully furnished bedrooms, each with its own facilities. Car Parking in the Grounds.
It is helpful to give an approximate time of arrival - particulary at weekends.
Conference and Training Facilities are available in a unique location on the edge of Bristol's Floating Harbour.

If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

The house is set well back from the nearest road, so all rooms are extremely quiet. Most bedrooms have views either across the Downs - an open park of 450 acres - or of the large gardens.
